Q: What is a FAQ?

A: FAQ is an acronym for "frequently asked questions."

Q: Does it need to be fired?

A: No, once you have finished painting we have a glaze we spray over your finished painting. This gives it a semi-gloss finish. Once dry, it is ready to hang or use.

Q: How long does it take to finish?

A: Most people finish within one hour. It depends on the skill level of the painter and difficulty of the piece.

Q: Can I buy just the piece because I have my own paints?

A: Yes, many of our regulars come in to buy the piece and take it home to paint with their own paints.

Q: What type of paints should I use if I decide to paint it at home?

A: We suggest buying acrylic if you are an at home hobbyist who doesn't plan on coming in to paint.

Q: Do you have studio or paint fees?

A: No, anything you decide to paint; everything is included in the price unless you decide to take it home to finish. We even have smocks available at no charge. If you don't finish the same day you visit the shop we will hold the piece up to 30 days at no charge. When you come back to finish it there is no additional charges for this option. NO studio or paint fees when you paint in the store; however, if you plan on buying the piece and taking it home to do we do offer paint to take home at an additional charge.

A: Yes, many times we will open for a group event or party. Please call us with the details.
